CityWide Disaster Services Radio Programs

CDS offers comprehensive emergency communications services to its member through its radio programs. These radio programs serve separate functions to CDS members and each provides members a great public safety benefit. When these programs are combined through our CDS Dispatch Team the benefit to members is greatly multiplied.

CDS Alert

New Yorks only public safety information radio network where our members can speak directly to public safety emergency managers handling current incidents and emergencies. Through the CDS Dispatch Team members interact with first responders to obtain first hand knowledge of incidents that effect their organization. CDS interacts with Federal, State, Local, and corporate safety emergency managers to provide information on incidents throughout the New York City metropolitain area as they occur.

CityLink

CDS members are able to report emergencies through the CDS Dispatch Team. CDS works directly with public safety emergency managers to organize first response efforts and continuously update members of first responders progress. All member organization information is stored at our dispatch center to streamline getting members the help they need quickly.

CDS Dispatch Team

The CDS Dispatch Team is the core of our radio program network. Through monitoring and communicating on both CDS Alert and CityLink the CDS Dispatch Team has the most comprehensive view of incident occurrence and response. This interaction yields a quicker and more effective response by emergency service organizations.
